Day #2

Hello world and or community, in our practicum, "Art in the community" we have been planning out how we can arrange the high school to look like a real art gallery for the gallery crawl. To do this we have taking a gander at several galleries around Davidson and observed what they have done to make it look real nice. We are in the process of making some signs to promote the event.

April is for the Arts

Dear people of the blogging industry,
In our practicum we have been setting up a gallery crawl for our high school. We have met with a few teachers to discuss our ideas and find out ways that we can display artwork and incorporate our theme, Bodies In Motion. We've been able to go to the Davidson College art gallery and we were able to discuss the different pieces of art and what we liked about them. We've been to the high school to see the areas that we will be working with and we have come up with some great ideas to make the gallery crawl awesome.

Day 1

Hey people of the blogging industry! The first day of my practicum, we met with the teachers in charge of the CSD gallery for the April Art Crawl. We started getting ideas on how we will display works of student's art, and how we can incorporate the Bodies in Motion theme and different arts into the museum. We learned that not only the middle/elementary school will be a part of this gallery crawl, but our practicum will be in charge of the high school display as well.
